Suit up, without disappearing
An Iron Man avatar with the helmet closed is a very good picture of a suit, and not a picture of you. Our measurement made the point bluntly: full masks keep the costume and lose the person. So in this universe the default style always opens the faceplate. The masked version is still there if you want it, clearly labelled.
Three styles
Faceplate Open is the default and the hero shot: full red and gold armour, the helmet on with the faceplate raised, arc reactor glowing on the chest. Your face, framed by the suit.
Workshop shows the genius behind the armour: you in a black t-shirt among holographic displays and robotic arms, a gauntlet on one hand. No helmet at all, so it is the most faithful likeness of the three.
Full Armour closes the helmet. It makes a striking image, but your face is hidden. We label it "face not visible" so nobody buys it by mistake.
Tips
A sharp, front-facing photo works best. Glasses are kept in the Workshop style; in the armour they may be removed when the helmet is on, which is the one exception. Each paid image comes with two free regenerations.
