Raise the sail
Viking stories are made for the big screen: dragon-headed longships cutting through grey fjords, firelit mead halls, braided hair and fur in the wind. This universe recreates the Norse world of the ninth century and casts you in it, keeping your own face, hair and features.
Three styles
Longship Raider is the default: wool and leather, a round painted shield, standing at the dragon prow of a longship as it enters a misty fjord at dawn.
Jarl's Hall is the regal portrait: seated on a carved wooden chair in a mead hall with a long fire, furs over the shoulders and drinking horns raised around you.
Shieldwall is the battle scene: a line of round shields on a grassy hill under a stormy sky, your face lit by a break in the clouds.
For the best result
Use a clear, front-facing photo in good light. Beards are kept if you have one, and never added if you do not. Glasses are kept too, even if no Viking ever wore them. Each paid image includes two free regenerations.
